The Sync Activewear
The Challenge and Success of Les Lunes' Sync Activewear:
In the rapidly evolving world of activewear, innovation is key to standing out. For Les Lunes, launching the Sync Activewear line was not just another product release but a bold step toward responsible performance apparel. However, the journey to develop the Sync collection was anything but ordinary.

Breaking New Ground with Seamless Bamboo-Based Technology
From the start, the biggest challenge for Les Lunes was clear: it was their first attempt to develop activewear using seamless technology and bamboo yarn. Unlike conventional yarns like nylon or polyester, bamboo yarn presents a set of challenges. Its fibers are incredibly soft and eco-friendly but lack the natural elasticity of synthetic materials. Because of this property, balancing two critical elements in activewear—stretch and compression—was especially difficult.
Adding to the difficulty was the fact that the chosen supplier had little experience producing seamless bamboo garments. Seamless bamboo-based clothing is rare in the industry, meaning both Les Lunes and the manufacturer were largely venturing into unknown territory. Developing the ideal prototype required a lot of time and patience. Unlike traditional cut-and-sew methods, seamless production creates each garment as a single piece. This makes every prototype iteration both time-consuming and technically complex.
The Technical Challenge: Achieving the Perfect Sync Style
At the heart of the challenge was developing the right “Sync” style. Activewear requires garments that not only stretch but also return to their original shape. Synthetic fibers like nylon or polyester are naturally suited for this—they stretch under tension and snap back seamlessly. Multiple rounds of revisions and prototyping were necessary. Each version of the leggings, bras, and shorts had to be tested for fit, stretch, and recovery. The goal was ambitious but clear: to achieve ideal stretch and recovery in a bamboo-dominant yarn without compromising durability or comfort. This process was methodical and rigorous, pushing the boundaries of what seamless bamboo-based activewear can achieve.
The Final Product: A Testament to Perseverance
The final composition of the Sync line reflects this journey of innovation—75% viscose (bamboo), 18% nylon, and 7% elastane. This unique blend not only provides the necessary stretch and recovery but also the softness and sustainability bamboo is known for. The seamless line includes the flagship Sync Leggings, the Sync Bra, and the Sync Shorts, each representing a milestone in eco-conscious activewear.
Following the success of the Sync collection, Les Lunes introduced the Form line, which benefited from the insights gained during the development of the Sync collection and enabled a smoother production process.
A New Era of Responsible Activewear
Les Lunes has proven that innovation and responsibility can coexist at a high level in the fashion industry. Through perseverance and commitment to quality, the Sync Activewear line sets a new standard for more sustainable sportswear and paves the way for future advances in responsible fabric technology.
