Meet the Les Lunes Team #2

We want to introduce you to some beloved members of our team again and give you an insight into our office: Here comes part two of our "Meet the Team" series with Martina, Rahim, Gina, and Niklas! 

Martina: Marketing Manager DACH 

This is how the Les Lunes family describes Martina: 

A little daydreamer, knows all the news before Promiflash, tells the craziest stories from her childhood.

What is your favorite Les Lunes essential and why?

I have some favorite essentials like the Alena Bodysuit or the April Top, but the leggings have been my most loyal companion since day one at Les Lunes. In times of remote work, there is no pair of pants better for working comfortably and also running errands or going for a walk without having to change!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH LES LUNES AND WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR ROLE?

I have been with Les Lunes since 2019 and am responsible for influencer collaborations, from the initial contact to long-term support. My main area is sourcing, meaning finding new influencers, and I am also the contact person for the various tools we use for our work. What I especially enjoy is seeing more and more people get excited about our products and how we gain new customers through our collaboration partners, who soon become fans of Les Lunes as well. One of the biggest challenges is negotiating compensation and doing justice to both parties so that everyone leaves the negotiation satisfied.

What criteria do you use to select influencers?

I first make sure that the influencers have a community that reflects our customer base, meaning the audience should be predominantly female and from the DACH region. Then I go into detail and take a closer look at the profile: What kind of content do the creators post? How high is the community's engagement rate? Would our products fit the profile? If everything fits, they will find a collaboration request from us in their inbox. :)

What has been your best experience at Les Lunes so far?

A professional highlight for me was OMR22 (an Online Marketing Festival), which took place again for the first time after three years. There we met agencies and partners with whom we have been working together since our early days. Seeing them in person was a very nice experience because it didn’t have the atmosphere of a business meeting but felt like old friends meeting again who hadn’t seen each other for so long due to the pandemic.

How do you like to spend your evenings after work? 

With a good book on the couch. :)

Rahim: Working student Buying

Which Les Lunes essential do you think is still missing in the shop?

I think flip flops!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH LES LUNES AND WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR ROLE?

I have been here for a year. I started in 2021 as an intern in the product development team. I was responsible for ordering shipping samples and internal quality checks. Currently, I am writing my master’s thesis and working at Les Lunes as a working student in the purchasing team. My main task now is to support our purchasing team in communication with our suppliers. I especially enjoy the direct exchange with them. I also take care of current product certifications. 

Can you give us a little preview of the coming months? What can customers especially look forward to? 

Oversized sweatshirts and wide-leg pants!

What has been your best experience at Les Lunes so far? 

I have experienced a very friendly work environment in the company. Especially from my product team, I have learned a lot about fabrics, fits, and trends. The company parties are always great too! Especially last year’s summer party. 

How do you like to spend your free time? 

I love to travel. When I have time, I like to discover new places and cultures the most.

Gina: Working student in Community Management

What is your favorite Les Lunes essential and why?

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH LES LUNES AND WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR ROLE?

I have been a working student in the Les Lunes Family since 2021 and am responsible for community management. That means I manage our social media channels, respond to messages and comments, and also create content myself, such as outfit inspirations for our stories. Besides the daily contact with our customers, I especially enjoy the creative part. Recently, for example, I have been allowed to actively participate in our campaigns, contribute my ideas, and be present at the photoshoots. Being able to accompany such a big project from the idea to the finished photo or video is really great!

Niklas: IT System Administrator

Which Les Lunes Essential for men would you like to see in the shop?n?

I would appreciate a relaxed hoodie look forward to, done can both on work but can also be worn during leisure time with friends at the bar. And socks work of course always!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH LES LUNES AND WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR ROLE?

I started a job at Les Lunes in mid-February this year and have been responsible for everything related to IT since then. That means everything from phones, laptops, and printers to the office Wi-Fi and managing our software. What always brings me the most joy is the gratitude from the employees when I can help them with their problems. There are often challenges because we use a very wide range of different software. In those cases, I first have to rethink things to properly put myself in the situation and be able to solve the problem. But that's exactly what I enjoy a lot, as it keeps me up-to-date with the programs and allows me to expand my knowledge.

Which qualities do you especially appreciate about the Les Lunes team? 

The Les Lunes team is very open, creative, and always cheerful. Also the about same Age myer Colleagu:inside means a lot to me, because it creates a very relaxed work atmosphere prevails und often also excitingof Geconversatione arise.

What has been your best experience at Les Lunes so far?

My best experience so far Experience was on eacin any case our Spring/Christmas Party. It was very exciting the faces from the wholzen Oonline calls too live once to experiencein. General there was ae wonderful Stmood, because participateall got along welleach other were able tond had a lot of fun. And when do you celebrate already mal Spring and WChristmas togethen?! (Oh andand of course that fantastic buffet and the well-stocked bar ;-) )

How do you like to spend your evenings after work? 

Preferably with of my little familie. We have a small garden in the north of Berlin and verblike to wrestle oure time. Otherwise enjoy me too das Gathering with Friends. Whether in our garden, by the nearby lake or in a cor in Wedding. And not to forget iIt's the music. I love music, preferably loud and with lots of bass!
