About the Bamboo Plant
Bamboo belongs to the grass family. There are 47 species with more than 1,000 varieties. Bamboo stalks grow mainly in East Asia and, depending on the species, can grow up to 40 meters tall.
From Bamboo to Fiber
Bamboo grows very fast: Some species grow up to one meter per day.
How Bamboo Viscose Is Made
For our fabrics, the cellulose of the bamboo is turned into a fiber using the viscose process – comparable to how other viscose fibers are made.
How Does Bamboo Viscose Feel?
Bamboo viscose has the beautiful sheen of silk and, as a vegan alternative, can rival the softness of cashmere. The lightweight material feels like a second skin and delights with a buttery-soft feel. Bamboo viscose leaves a slightly cooling sensation on the skin, which is why we especially love the fabric in summer. Thanks to its temperature-regulating effect, however, clothing made from bamboo viscose also provides sufficient warmth in winter.

Textiles made from bamboo viscose are pleasantly stretchy, making them ideal companions for everyday life. Our styles consist of 95% bamboo viscose. The 5% elastane makes our bamboo viscose clothing super stretchy, allowing it to grow effortlessly with you even throughout your entire pregnancy.
